  • Influencer?

I feel like I wanna start posting TikTok’s. Kind of embarrassing, but it seems so fun.

I used to do get ready with me videos and post them on TikTok, but deleted them cause I got embarrassed. I also did days in my life. Those were fun. Should I start again?

  • quick break

my month was so busy. I forgot to post about it. But I’m back. I took a quick break, but I will commit to keep posting weekly.

I’m on my fitness journey once again. been getting up at 4 AM to go to my 5am HIFT class.

I hate being the new person anywhere I go, but it’s necessary for change to occur. And my classes is almost over so excited for that.

I’m taking two classes in February together though. Pray for me.

  • COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

It’s so easy to overlook the good and dwell on the bad — our flesh is wired to do that.

But taking time to recognize the good things, no matter how small, changes everything. Gratitude shifts your perspective, brings peace, and reminds you that there’s still light in every day.

Happiness doesn’t come from what’s around you — it starts within you. If you can’t find it inside yourself, you won’t see it anywhere else.

So I encourage you to count your blessings. Take a moment every day to reflect on what went right, who made you smile, or what you’re thankful for. It doesn’t have to be anything grand — sometimes it’s just a good coffee, a safe drive home, or the comfort of your own bed.

The more you practice gratitude, the more you’ll start to see beauty in the ordinary. Life feels lighter, softer, and more meaningful when you choose to notice the blessings that were always there.

  • next class

I officially finished my first class of my masters program. I am so blessed with everything that I learned, all the people created relationships with, and the amazing professor that guided us through it all.

My next class starts in just a few days, and I know it’s going to be a challenge — but I’m ready for it. Growth comes with effort, and I’m eager to keep learning. After all, knowledge truly is power.

  • crazy exs

My brother’s ex-girlfriend has been tormenting him for months—so much that he finally had to get a no-contact order. And even then, she’s ignored it completely.

They’re still in high school, so at first it’s hard to take all the drama seriously, but honestly, she’s made his life miserable. My mom and I are both worried she might twist things and make it seem like he’s the problem. But I know he’s not—and that’s coming from an unbiased point of view.

She seriously needs therapy… and apparently, so does my ex. He decided to send me a follow request on Instagram at 1:30 AM last night. what are you doing creeping on your ex’s page in the middle of the night while you have a girlfriend? Weirdo.

Little does he know—I’m stepping into the most beautiful chapter of my life: marriage.

    Request: denied.

  • be intentional

With everything in life, you must be intentional. The universe listens — what you put out is what you attract. Choose positivity, and you’ll start to see more of it around you.

Take a moment to recognize how blessed you are. Practice gratitude, speak goodness into your life, and move with intention every day.

  • wake up to the first alarm

Do you know how many alarms I’ve slept through? How many times I’ve overslept? Too many to count. Eventually, I had to figure out how to stop hitting snooze and actually wake up to my first alarm.

At UC Santa Cruz, I took a stress and well-being class that completely changed how I think about sleep. I learned about sleep cycles — we go through about 2 to 3 each night, and each one lasts roughly 3 to 4 hours. When you interrupt a cycle, you wake up feeling groggy and unrested.

So if your alarm goes off at 6:00 AM and you hit snooze for 10 minutes, you’re not helping yourself — you’re starting another sleep cycle you won’t finish. That’s why you feel even more tired.

Don’t make the same mistake I did for years. Set your alarm, and when it rings, get up. Wake up to the first alarm.

  • Welcome to my blog

Hi! My name is Isabella, and I’m twenty two years old, living in Los Angeles County, California. I’ll be honest — I’m not a professional writer, so this blog will be raw, real, and true.

Let’s start with the name — Izzy2Busy. My full name is Isabella, but growing up, my friends at school called me Izzy. I don’t love that nickname anymore, but Izzy2Busy just rhymes too well to pass up. The nickname actually started in high school when I was constantly missing out on activities because I was, well, always busy. I worked full-time, held a position in ASB, took four AP classes each year, and volunteered every Sunday in the children’s ministry at my church. Sleep was a luxury — I averaged maybe four or five hours a night!

Fast forward to today — not much has changed. I created this blog to share what it’s like living a busy, productive life while still trying to slow down and stay grounded. Productivity doesn’t always mean chaos; sometimes it’s about finding rhythm in the rush and creating space to reset.

Right now, I’m in a whirlwind season: I’m enrolled in a master’s program, planning my wedding, serving as the Service Coordinator at my church, training to become the Office Manager at a private dental office, and now… starting a blog!

Thank you for being here and taking the time to read my first post. I’m so excited to start this new journey and share my world with you — the good, the busy, and everything in between.

    Welcome to izzy2busy
